Cross-border Pro “Sal” Beattie Joins MIQ Logistics in Laredo, Texas

Beattie is responsible for managing all operations and is accountable for overall P&L growth for U.S./Mexico cross border services.


MIQ Logistics is pleased to announce that Salvador “Sal” Beattie has joined the company as branch manager of its new Cross-border Logistics Center in Laredo, Texas.

Beattie is responsible for managing all operations and is accountable for overall P&L growth for U.S./Mexico cross border services.

“Sal built his career in Laredo, enhancing the cross-border supply chain operations for hundreds of customers,” says Jim Wood, regional director-MIQ Logistics.

Prior to joining MIQ Logistics, Beattie was with DB Schenker (formerly BAX Global) for over 10 years, most recently serving as its Laredo branch manager. Before that, Beattie was general manager for Fritz Companies and import manager for Daniel B. Hastings, both in Laredo.

Beattie received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
