Trimble has been recognized as a Challenger in the recently published Gartner Magic Quadrant for Real-Time Transportation Visibility Platforms (RTTVP) for its Trimble Visibility solution(1).
Magic Quadrant reports are a culmination of rigorous, fact-based research in specific markets, providing a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the providers in markets where growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct.
Providers are positioned into four quadrants: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries and Niche Players.
The evaluation was based on specific criteria that analyzed the company’s overall completeness of vision and ability to execute.
According to the research, “The RTTVP market doubled in size in North America in 2020. This growth was accelerated due to the supply chain disruptions created by the pandemic.”
“Gartner estimates the size of the market to have reached close to $300 million in 2020 and expects it to grow to $1 billion by 2024.”
Trimble Visibility provides transportation professionals with a centralized, 360-degree view of the supply chain with real-time access to critical details such as load status, current location, ETA and weather alerts along the route.
By aggregating key data across ocean, rail, intermodal, full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL) and final mile shipments, Trimble Visibility provides shippers with the opportunity to better plan schedules and offers carriers and brokers an opportunity to maximize their customers’ experience.
Advanced integration capabilities also empower users to connect Trimble Visibility to key platforms such as transportation management systems (TMS) and in-cab telematics solutions.
