Tompkins Robotics expands its portfolio of robotic solutions

Tompkins Robotics (Booth N7140) is expanding its robotic solution offerings and introducing its new PickPal, pick assist (PA) autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and the Induction Lift, multi-level sortation robot, at ProMat.

Tompkins Robotics (Booth N7140) is expanding its robotic solution offerings and introducing its new PickPal, pick assist (PA) autonomous mobile robot (AMR) and the Induction Lift, multi-level sortation robot, at ProMat. Attendees can see demonstrations of these systems—which follow Tompkins Robotics’ core design elements of producing adaptive, flexible and scalable solutions—at the company’s booth.

PickPal provides a low-burden implementation of robotic technology that can be deployed quickly in a low cost and scalable robotics-as-a-service (RaaS) model to drive capacity, cost and workforce improvements in operations that are struggling with meeting fulfillment demands.

“Tompkins Robotics’ PickPal series provides a new solution with more flexible contracts, lower cost, and minimal risk solution to help 3PL, e-commerce and other fulfillment customers handle the growing problems that traditional, large-scale solutions cannot easily address,” said Mike Futch, president and CEO.

Also at ProMat, Tompkins Robotics unveiled its new induction lift system, which allows an operator to induct to multiple levels from a single station at induction. The product eliminates the need for pre-sorting of items and allows for a more efficient larger batch pick process for sortation.
