The Manufacturing Institute and Arconic Foundation have released a video that highlights the value veterans bring to the manufacturing workforce, and encourages veterans to explore the career options available in manufacturing.

Memorial Day’s roots go back to the Civil War, shortly after the war, in 1868, an organization of Union veterans established “Decoration Day” as a time for the nation to decorate the graves of the fallen Union soldiers.
