Körber, whose offerings include warehouse automation, warehouse management systems and other software, sees the acquisition as creating a global leader in end-to-end supply chain execution solutions. The former Siemens Logistics’ mail and parcel business will be one of the core businesses within the Körber Group, and the group will move the headquarters of its Business Area Supply Chain to Constance, Germany.

With around 1,200 employees, Siemens Logistics mail and parcel business generates annual revenue of about €500 million.
