A new report by Chicago-based Bringg, a data-led delivery and fulfillment cloud platform provider highlighted how logistics services providers are approaching their last-mile operations, with a focus on things like: growth strategy, bridging the gap between growing delivery trends; and current capabilities supported by technology in order to fuel and sustain long-term growth.

Bringg officials said that the objective of this acquisition is to accelerate Bringg’s penetration in the Salesforce ecosystem by extending Zenkraft’s parcel, return and post purchase use cases with an on-demand delivery network of hundreds of providers.

A report issued this week by Chicago-based Bringg, a data-led delivery and fulfillment cloud platform provider, examined various aspects of same-day delivery, focusing on a forward-looking approach to same-day delivery, as well as the main strengths and drawbacks related to it, among other factors.

The company said that this round of funding was led by Insight Partners, with other participating investors including: Cambridge Capital, GLP, Harlap, Next 47, Pereg Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and Viola Growth.

Bringg officials said that this partnership will offer up seamless access, for its customers, via Uber Direct—Uber’s service focused on helping businesses meet increased customer demand for delivery and provide businesses with Uber’s network of drivers-partners to move goods within their supply chain

A partnership announced earlier this month by Tel Aviv, Israel-based Bringg, a delivery and fulfillment orchestration platform provider, and Chicago-based third-party logistics (3PL) services provider SEKO Logistics is focused on innovating and optimizing the digital consumer delivery experience. This partnership is timely, in that many consumers are keenly focused on getting holiday shopping done earlier, due, in large part, to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen various delivery networks backed up as more consumers are now ordering goods online.

Bringg Founder and CTO Lior Sion told LM that the need for this new offering was driven by how consumer expectations for delivery, curbside pickup and click 'n' collect have been thrust into hyper-growth due to COVID, making omnichannel fulfillment a business imperative not just for success but for survival in today's market.

Company officials said that the focus of this round is geared towards businesses across different verticals keep pace with what they called rapidly expanding delivery momentum. And they added that Bringg’s total funding, to date, is now at $83.3 million, which Bringg said is enabling global market expansion for large enterprises and SMBs.

Leading last mile logistics and on-demand delivery platform Bringg has partnered with chef prepared, authentic food delivery company Hungry to enable them to scale and optimize their business.
