University of Tennessee, Knoxville Launches Online Master’s in Supply Chain Management

The degree is the first of 10 online programs UT plans to launch with Noodle Partners.

Master of Science in Supply Chain Management

The University of Tennessee (UT), Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business is recruiting students to its new online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program.

The degree is delivered with Noodle Partners, the fastest growing online program manager (OPM), and is the first of 10 online programs UT plans to launch with Noodle Partners.

The first cohort is set to begin in Fall 2019.

Haslam’s accomplished faculty, ranked first worldwide for research productivity by Transportation Journal, teach all of the classes and create the curriculum.

Haslam faculty deliver the world’s most relevant Executive MBA program, as determined by the 2018 Economist Which MBA ranking.

“We designed our online master’s in supply chain management to propel students forward in their careers and to instill in them a cutting-edge perspective on how supply chain management creates value,” said Shay Scott, Executive Director of the Global Supply Chain Institute.

“We are thrilled to have Noodle Partners on our team in launching this program and bringing our valuable supply chain expertise to more students.”

Haslam’s supply chain graduate program is ranked second nationally by Gartner and is also home to the Global Supply Chain Institute.

Established in 2012 to connect businesses with the college’s globally-ranked research and educational programs, the institute includes 75 supply chain partners from the industry and 350 recruiting companies.

“Supply chain is a large and integral field of study,” said John Katzman, CEO of Noodle Partners.

“Companies are increasingly scaling quickly and globally, and Haslam’s supply chain department is a pioneer in supply chain education. It stands out for its fresh and pragmatic approach in a field that, when taught elsewhere, can at times be heavy on theory.”

The larger partnership between Noodle Partners and UT will, over the next three years, expand to multiple colleges at the university.
