New hygienic pallet debuts

Jack Kelly, national sales manager for Polymer Solutions International (Booth 205), introduced a new hygienic plastic pallet Monday. The pallet is intended for food and pharmaceutical use, he said.
The one-piece molded pallet is full perimeter edge-rackable to 2,200 pounds with four stringers. It also comes in a three-stringer model, he said.
“Additionally, the pallet is made of FM-approved material to meet fire retardance requirements,” Kelly said.
The company, which provides pallets, racks and materials handling products worldwide to customers in more than 80 countries, was recently recognized with an innovation award for the design of their double leg ratchet pallet, added Kelly.
ProMat 2011 will be held March 21 - 24, 2011 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry.
