Fortna names Alan Winegar as vice president, supply chain

Alan Winegar has been named Vice President, Supply Chain Services at Fortna, the global professional services firm that helps companies make distribution a competitive advantage.

Winegar will lead Fortna’s practice that focuses on supply chain execution software for warehouse management, transportation, and labor. The group helps companies determine the strategy and business case for technology investment and select and implement the appropriate solution to achieve the business goals. This is a critical component of Fortna’s integrated model that guarantees results on large supply chain transformation projects.

Winegar comes to Fortna from JDA Software (formerly RedPrairie), where he was VP of Consulting Services. Prior to RedPrairie, Winegar held various positions in services, product development, product management, and operations at Direct Supply, Inc. Throughout his career, Winegar has a proven track record of building highly successful teams, driving business growth and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.
