EnerSys’ new power solutions include Li-ion, TPPL

On Monday, EnerSys (Booth S612) unveiled new products in its line of NexSys power solutions.

On Monday, EnerSys (Booth S612) unveiled new products in its line of NexSys power solutions. Showcased were the Lithium-ion (Li-ion) NexSys iON battery with a unique, modular design; the cost-effective Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) NexSys PURE battery; and the latest developments in wireless charging.

“As materials handling equipment and applications evolve, so too do our customers’ needs for innovative battery solutions, regardless of operation size,” said Harold Vanasse, senior director of marketing. “Our newest products deliver virtually maintenance-free performance for high reliability and maximum uptime.”

Vanasse further noted that, while many in the supply chain operations field are aware of Li-ion batteries and of wireless charging for small, personal devices, most are unaware of the technology’s potential value for lift trucks and other handling equipment.

“For that reason, CTO and Sr. VP Joern Tinnemeyer will present on-show-floor seminars on each topic on Tuesday at 11:15am in Theater B and 3:45pm in Theater F,” he added.

ProMat 2019 is scheduled to be held April 8-11 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the materials handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete coverage of the show.
