CEMA reports January 2019 booked orders down 22.8% compared to January 2018
January 2019 shipments up 13.3% compared to January 2018.
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association has reported that its January 2019 booked orders decreased 22.8% when compared to January 2018 orders.
January 2019 booked orders when compared to December 2018 booked orders were down 26.7%. January booked orders were up 2.3% for bulk handling equipment and down 38.1% for unit handling equipment when compared to December.
CEMA’s January 2019 billed sales (shipments) increased by 13.3% when compared to January 2018 sales. January 2019 billed sales when compared to December 2018 billed sales were down 10.4%. January billed sales were up 2.7% for bulk handling equipment and down 14.0% for unit handling equipment when compared to December.
