Talking Supply Chain: Building the startup supply chain – What it takes

Welcome to Talking Supply Chain: Building the startup supply chain – What it takes, where Krutin Shah discusses his experience building a supply chain for an e-commerce fulfillment company from scratch. SCMR editorial director Bob Trebilcock moderates.

Most of the companies we speak to are long-established brands that might be tweaking their supply chains or expanding into new markets. But something else is happening: Many of those established brands are now moving from B2B supply chains to D2C supply chains. And, of course, there are those in the startup community that have reached a scale that they no longer want to rely on third parties and take control of their own destinies. It makes you wonder: What does it take to do that?
