Egemin Automation has announces the appointment of Thomas Kaminski as the new CEO, effective November 1, 2014.
Mr. Kaminski has more than 15 years of automation and material handling experience. Prior to his acceptance of this position, Kaminski was with Egemin Automation Inc. for more than a decade, most recently holding the role of vice president of engineering. During his tenure at Egemin, he has also served as director of solutions engineering, lead the software engineering group, and managed manufacturing and test. Prior to Egemin, Kaminski began his career at Rapistan Systems (now Dematic) as an AGV software engineer.
“I was so impressed 11 years ago with Egemin’s investment in research and development, industry expertise of the employees, passion for understanding a customer’s business, and people proud of the solutions they create and deliver that I decided it was where I would take my career,” Kaminski said. “I wanted to learn from the business model and people who make this company what it has been and continues to be—an innovative and unique organization. Today, I still feel that same way, and I look forward to leading such a great company into the future as we continue our growth.”
Kaminski, 34, is a graduate of Kettering University (formerly GMI) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. A west Michigan native, he believes in improving the region through technology and business development.
