DHL Supply Chain Appoints New CEO Amidst Leadership Changes

Global logistics leader DHL Supply Chain announced major changes to its global leadership team, with Patrick Kelleher replacing Scott Sureddin as CEO of DHL Supply Chain in North America. Sureddin, who has been with the company for over 20 years, will retire in December.

In his new role, Kelleher will be responsible for managing the business across the U.S. and Canada, along with 52,000 associates. The release notes that he will prioritize expansion in key geographical areas to capitalize on the growing logistics needs in those regions and capture market share.

In other leadership news, Markus Voss will succeed Kelleher as the division's Chief Development Officer. In his new role, Voss will lead the development of the business unit, additionally overseeing the teams of Service Logistics, Solutions Design, and all strategic growth products. Voss will continue to be part of DHL Supply Chain's Global Board of Management.

Voss's former role as Global Chief Information Officer and Chief Operations Officer will be split between two people, Sally Miller and Mauricio Barros. Miller, who currently serves as Chief Information Officer for North America and the Global Digital Transformation Office, will take on the role of Global Chief Information Officer. Meanwhile, Barros will become the Chief Operations Officer. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Operations after starting his career at DHL more than 20 years ago in Brazil and holding numerous management roles across Latin America.
