RPA creates opportunity for supply chain professionals to benchmark, discuss, and solve challenges with reusables.

2015 programs established for five committees: Education, Marketing and Communications, Membership, Industry Affairs and Standards, and End User Advisory Committee.

Winners to be announced at April forum focusing on best practices, challenges, and benefits associated with reusables in a supply chain.

The newest members of the association are Drader Manufacturing, a manufacturer of reusable products including containers, bins, pallets, dunnage, and other protective packaging; and Paxxal, which provides a pallet series made from Siluma – a new patented material designed to outperform plastic.

With the goal of edu­cat­ing sup­ply chain atten­dees on enhanc­ing the strength of wooden pal­lets to make them more reusable, the ses­sion will be part of the Reusable Pack­ag­ing Association’s (RPA) Learn­ing Cen­ter.

Hosted by the Reusable Packaging Association, education forum features more than a dozen sessions over three days.

Xtreme RFID manufactures rugged RFID tags that fully encapsulate RFID inlays in a one piece plastic housing to protect it from chemicals, water, impact, temperatures, and other unforgiving elements.

Winning companies will provide details of their implementations at the RPA’s Reusables Learning Center at Pack Expo 2014 in Chicago.

The company engineers and manufactures custom reusable trays, returnable containers, and other packaging products for transportation and process applications.

Following positive responses from its inaugural event in 2013, the forum plans to expand.

The award recognizes companies that have developed, supported, or implemented measurable and innovative reusable solutions in a business-to-business supply chain.

The company will exhibit at the RPA’s Reusable Packaging Pavilion at PACK EXPO in Chicago.

Committee to include membership and input from providers of reusable plastic containers (RPCs), retailers, growers, and shippers.

This is the The Reusable Packaging Association's (RPA) largest board ever and includes members from two end-user companies, The Kroger Company and Herman Miller.

The three-day study was carried out at Clemson University’s CUshop, an immersive shopping environment used to test consumer behavior.
