Diesel prices continued heading down, decreasing 6.6 cents to $3.828 per gallon.

The price per gallon for diesel fuel dropped for the third straight week, falling 3.7 cents to $3.894 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Following a 4.6 cent decline last week, the price per gallon for diesel fuel dropped another 3.3 cents this week to $3.931, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration

As soon as the price per gallon for diesel eclipsed the $4 per gallon mark a week ago, it went back below $4, with a 4.6 cent decline to $3.964 per gallon, according to data from the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

When the price per gallon of diesel spiked a full ten cents last week, it still remained below $4 per gallon. But with this week’s 2.3 cent gain to $4.01 per gallon, it is back in territory it has not been in since mid-May, when it hit $4.061 on May 16, according to data from the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Diesel prices were up a full dime, with the price per gallon hitting $3.987.

After five straight weeks of declines, the price per gallon for diesel gasoline spiked 8 cents to $3.801 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration.

This nearly 5 cent dip follows 2.9 cents and 0.6 cent decreases over the previous two weeks, respectively

This follows a 0.6 cent decline last week, which was preceded by a 5.8 cent gain over the previous two weeks.

Following two weeks in increasing prices after a month of declines, diesel prices dipped 0.6 cents to $3.862 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration.

Diesel prices headed north for the first time in a month, rising 1.0 cents to $3.820 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration.

This follows declines of 6.2 cents, 4 cents and 1.2 cents from the previous three weeks. Prior to the last four weeks of downward prices, diesel saw a cumulative 9.9 cent gain over a three week period.
