Today’s warehouses operate in an increasingly complex supply chain environment. They are challenged to process rising order volumes with 100% accuracy while coping with labor shortages and constrained budgets.
To navigate these demands, many warehouses have adopted automation technologies, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and advanced Material Handling Equipment (MHE), to augment their workforce and improve operational performance. However, managing these solutions individually presents several challenges. It is nearly impossible to optimize performance across multiple automation systems and warehouse staff. If fulfillment processes are not coordinated, people and automation systems cannot become fully productive. Also, integrating multiple systems separately duplicates effort and cost.
