Urgent, Same Day Distribution

The Pandemic created unprecedented challenges and an extreme level of urgency this transportation decision maker had never experienced before. PITT OHIO created a mass distribution model for this States’ Department of Health to supply its communities with personal protective equipment and related products.

The distribution solution enabled the State to successfully supply PPE and related necessities to the appointed municipalities with next day, 100% on-time service and 0 claims.

The pandemic was a surprise to many and presented shippers with challenges they have never faced before. Because this decision maker had no prior experience with this type challenge, PITT OHIO’s expertise and guidance was paramount to a successful collaboration solving and executing the solution.

The solution was mutually beneficial to both parties. The Department of Health was extremely grateful for PITT OHIO’s expertise to create this solution and it provided a large volume of business and subsequent job opportunities for drivers.
