Wynright earns RIA Certified Robot Integrator status

Certification includes on-site audit of business systems, processes, technical expertise, post-sales support and project management.

Wynright Corporation, a leading independent, U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, today announced it has earned the new Certified Robot Integrator designation from the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), the industry’s foremost trade group.

RIA’s certification program was developed to provide end users with a baseline with which to evaluate robot integrators. Earning this designation demonstrates that the integrator has the professional resources and capabilities necessary to successfully build and incorporate robots into the workflow. Wynright has six certified robot technologists, including two that have been certified at the expert level.

“Wynright was an early adopter of robots for intelligent materials handling, and we continue to be one of the leading innovators for progressive distribution centers,” said Kevin Ambrose, CEO of Wynright Corporation. “We have a thorough understanding of the importance of robotics in today’s DC environments, and are very active in designing and manufacturing systems that will improve the efficiency of operations now and in the future. Earning the Certified Robot Integrator designation is an affirmation of our knowledge, experience and best practices, as well as a tremendous validation of the value we bring to our clients.”

Wynright is one of only a handful of integrators who have passed the rigorous evaluation process, which includes completing RIA’s Integrator Score Card, providing supporting documentation, and ultimately passing an on-site audit of its business systems, processes, technical expertise, post-sales support and project management. Each certified integrator must also complete the RIA’s safety training and participate in hands-on testing requirements.

“Earning the Certified Robot Integrator designation requires a significant investment of time and personnel,” said Tim Criswell, President, Wynright Robotics Solutions. “Yet we believe it is very worthwhile, because it gives clients and prospects measurable assurance that Wynright has the knowledge, experience and systems to help them achieve their automation goals. We are proud to have joined this elite group of integrators.”
