Assessing Supply Chain Risk with Rob Handfield

In this podcast, Jeff Berman, Group News Editor for Logistics Management and the Peerless Media Supply Chain Group, interviews Rob Handfield, Professor at North Carolina State's Poole College of Management and Bank of America Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management.



During this podcast, Handfield discussed the impact of the recent Suez Canal disruption and its key takeaways from a supply chain risk management perspective, the concept of more regionalized supply chains, approaches to inventorty management, and the increasing importance of supply chains in the corporate world, among others topics. 

Handfield also serves as Executive Director of the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative, which addresses thought leadership and research in the area of supply chain management, within the Poole College of Management, and a member of INFORMS, an international society for practitioners in the fields of operations research, management science, and analytics, where he also serves on its expert panel.
