EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, June 11, 2013 – Amber Road, a leading provider of global trade management solutions (GTM), announced that it has opened an office in Munich, Germany to serve as its EMEA headquarters. Beginning with one sales executive in Scandinavia in 2009, Amber Road has quickly grown its European customer base to include companies such as ABB, Drägerwerke, Lantiq, Metso, Siemens and Talis, to name a few.
The strong demand for its global trade management solutions in Europe has fueled the company’s growth in the geography. Amber Road now employs full time sales, pre-sales, marketing, professional services and technical support personnel throughout Europe, many of whom now work out of the Munich headquarters.
“With the EMEA headquarters coordinating our region-wide activities, we can better serve our existing and future customers, complementing our local representations with enhanced resources and expertise for a wider range of functions,” said John Preuninger, President of Amber Road.
The new office will support and complement the activities of Amber Road’s existing sales offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Great Britain. The aim is to grow the business more rapidly in Europe and to provide a first rate implementation and support experience for European customers.
The Munich office will preside at the following address:
