Scholarship

This year's $5,000 scholarship winner is Cardin Tuan Kiet Tran, a high school senior at Davis High School in Houston. Over the past two decades, the Cat Lift Trucks Scholarship Program has awarded $145,000 in educational assistance to 29 Houston area students.

The scholarships celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Dematic’s Automated Storage Retrieval System in the Mary Idema Pew Library. Installed at GVSU’s Allendale campus in 2013, the Dematic AS/RS fully automates the book collection process.

Dematic FIRST Scholarships support students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math educations.
