As Hurricane Idalia approaches landfall, ALAN is busy preparing, and is encouraging members of the logistics community to do the same.

Late yesterday ALAN received its first request for logistics assistance tied to the fires disaster – moving communications equipment to support shelter facilities near Lahaina.

Donation of a Raymond forklift to Trucker’s Safety, Support & Supply Fleet, Inc., was coordinated by the American Logistics Aid Network. The donation will help the nonprofit organization unload truckloads of food, clothing and other goods donated to assist low-income families in South Fulton and surrounding communities in Georgia.
