Portable, on-demand printers from Zebra are easy to use

Zebra Technologies (Booth 1552) announced the launch of the new ZQ500 mobile printer series for field-based applications.

Zebra Technologies (Booth 1552) announced the launch of the new ZQ500 mobile printer series for field-based applications. The 3-inch ZQ510 and 4-inch ZQ520 printers are portable, print-on-demand devices that feature an intuitive display with only three large buttons and no menus, making them ideal for gloved hands, said Mark Wheeler, director of supply chain solutions.

“With an intuitive user display and the latest Link-OS environment, the ZQ500 series is easy to setup, use, manage and maintain,” he said.

Other highlights include an IP54 rating for protection against dust and liquids, and cold temperature compensation that automatically optimizes and balances print speed and quality.

“If the printer is accidently dropped, we’ve engineered protection that keeps the media from being ejected,” Wheeler added. “The devices include the latest Bluetooth connectivity for pairing with all major smartphone and tablet operating systems; they also support a secondary Bluetooth channel for simultaneous operations.”
