Manifest 2024: Robotics, supply chain management and logistics on display in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Super Bowl LVIII isn’t the only event taking over Sin City in the first full week of February 2024. Manifest: The Future of Supply Chain & Logistics conference is bringing together over 4,500 professionals at Caesar’s Palace to discuss the major trends in the robotics, supply chain and logistics industries.

This year marks the second in-person event for Manifest after multiple years as a remote-only offering and a prior history under the “Future of Logistics Tech Summit” moniker. The 2024 edition features organizations across the logistics portfolio that encompass a large swath of the industry. Here’s a preview of what’s to come from Las Vegas that robotics insiders need to know.

Robotics in the warehouse

Automation and robotics are near the center of optimizing warehouse workflows and processes. Multiple presentations at the show will target these overlapping topics. Locus Robotics will tackle robotics integration into warehouse technologies. Dexterity will evaluate robotics in the AI sphere as organizations look to push the envelope in their warehouse evolution.

Recently, Brightpick secured a contract with sports nutrition company The Feed to install 48 of its Autopicker robots in The Feed’s warehouse to expedite picking and shipping. On the funding front, GreyOrange announced a $135 million investment in late December 2023 as the automation and robotics integration continues to evolve.

3D robots pick and pack as part of the supply chain

As robots continue evolving with AI, machine learning and more, another development that has taken major steps in the recent past is 3D vision. At Manifest, Unbox Robotics and Mushiny Robotics are slated to host talks about 3D sorting technology.
