Location Density Map of top North American 3PLs

The map gives you a macro view of 3PL headquarters throughout the US and Canada, allowing you to understand the industry’s distribution across the region.

eyefortransport has just put together a map of the location density of all of the major North American 3PLs.

The map gives you a macro view of 3PL headquarters throughout the US and Canada, allowing you to understand the industry’s distribution across the region.

In our research into 3PLs and Logistics companies, it was difficult to gauge the lay of the land of the major 3PL Headquarters across North America.

With this in mind, we created this map for a birds-eye perspective that provides an easy to digest summary of the distribution of 3PLs throughout the continent .

From the map,

  • California, New Jersey and Illinois were the top three states
  • Many smaller states – Tennessee and Missouri were home to over 5 headquarters
  • Many of the bigger 3PLs - CH Robinson, UPS and Schneider Logistics were in states with 3 or fewer headquarters
  • We will be creating an updated version of this map in the next month. To find out how to be included in that map, please get in touch with Haley Garner – [email protected]
  • Many top decision makers from North America’s major 3PLs will be meeting this year at the 3PL Summit in Chicago, June 11th – 13th. Click this link to see how to get involved.
