CEMA reports June booked orders up 13.1% from June 2015 orders

Shipments increased by 4.0% when compared to June 2015 sales.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its June 2016 booked orders increased 13.1% when compared to June 2015 orders.

June 2016 booked orders when compared to May 2016 booked orders were down 13.3%. June booked orders were up 13.8% for bulk handling equipment and down 22.1% for unit handling equipment when compared to May.

CEMA’s June 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 4.0% when compared to June 2015 sales. June 2016 billed sales when compared to May 2016 billed sales were up 6.5%.

June billed sales were up 6.4% for bulk handling equipment and up 6.5% for unit handling equipment when compared to May.
