CEMA reports booked orders for September 2016 up 45.8% from September 2015

Orders and shipments remain strong following record month.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported that its September 2016 booked orders increased 45.8% when compared to September 2015 orders.

September 2016 booked orders when compared to August 2016 booked orders were down 60.9%. September booked orders were up 8.6% for bulk handling equipment and down 50.6% for unit handling equipment when compared to August.

CEMA’s September 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 10.3% when compared to September 2015 sales. September 2016 billed sales when compared to August 2016 billed sales were down 2.6%.

Handling Equipment when compared to August.
