CEMA reports April booked orders down 10.5% from April 2015 orders
April shipments up 2.3% when compared to April 2015 sales.
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its April 2016 booked orders decreased 10.5% when compared to April 2015 orders.
April 2016 booked orders when compared to March 2016 booked orders were down 19.3%. April booked orders were down 6.6% for bulk handling equipment and down 25.4% for unit handling equipment when compared to March.
CEMA’s April 2016 billed sales (shipments) increased by 2.3% when compared to April 2015 sales. April 2016 billed sales when compared to March 2016 billed sales were up 1.0%.
April billed sales were down 6.2% for bulk handling equipment and up 4.0% for unit handling equipment when compared to March.
