Toshiba (Booth 7324) is launching its new rugged, portable FP2 bar code printer, which produces 2-inch receipts, tickets and labels for supply chain, logistics, materials handling and retail applications. Equipped with a color LCD that provides clear visibility of battery levels, printer status and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connections, the FP2 helps increase productivity, improve efficiency and simplify maintenance.

“We’re excited to introduce and showcase our new thermal bar code printer for the nation’s premier supply chain, logistics, materials handling professionals,” said Bill Melo, chief marketing executive at Toshiba America Business Solutions. “Toshiba’s FP2 offers the premium performance and reliability expected of desktop bar code printers in a portable form factor.”

Weighing less than 2 pounds, the printer touts IP54 dust and splash-proof ratings, along with a proven drop-resistance of two meters or 6.5 feet. Extreme-accuracy printing drives further cost and time savings by ensuring readability and eliminating the need to reprint or reship.

Modex 2020 is scheduled to be held March 9-12 at Georgia’s World Congress Center in Atlanta. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the materials handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete coverage of the show.
