RPA Announces Reusable Packaging Forum

RPA creates opportunity for supply chain professionals to benchmark, discuss, and solve challenges with reusables.

The Reusable Packaging Association is hosting a unique and interactive forum for supply chain professionals who use reusables to actively collaborate, solve the challenges of reusables and increase their return on investment.

The Reusable Packaging Forum will be April 28-29 in Chicago.

“Reusables deliver many benefits like cost savings and improved worker safety, but implementing them can be challenging because they impact the entire supply chain,” said Hillary Femal, RPA chairman, and vice president of global marketing for IFCO Systems. “The Forum is a first-of-its-kind event that will give supply chain professionals a rare chance to share their experiences, benchmarks, and best practices in moderated learning sessions, and identify ways to strengthen the benefits that reusables can deliver.”

The Forum agenda, which was designed by users of reusables, includes professionally moderated learning sessions where attendees will dive deep into supply chain issues and problem solve them. Informal networking will give attendees additional opportunities to build new business contacts and relationships for future help and discussions. In addition, panelists of end users will present and discuss these key reusable issues that are shared across all business-to-business supply chains:

● Best practices for implementing reusable supply chain solutions
● The business case for reusable packaging
● Controlling reusable assets and preventing loss

Keynote speakers will round out the agenda, sharing global insights and experiences with reusables. Click here to review the complete agenda and register for the conference, or go to www.reusables.org. Discounts for early bird registration are available through March 31.

“By sharing their collective experiences and insights, attendees will get the answers they need to increase and maximize the benefits of reusables,” said Jerry Welcome, president of the RPA. “It’s a unique opportunity for members of the supply chain who use reusables, or are considering them, to collaborate with peers from different industries, get answers, and gain a new network of helpful resources.”
