High-density sliding shoe sorter for faster handling of e-commerce packages

Offering fast, precise diverts of different product and packaging types—including polybags—the IntelliSort HDS sliding shoe sorter is engineered for high-throughput e-commerce operations.

Its dual-sided construction accommodates a high density of chutes in minimal floor space, making the sorter ideal for zone-skipping applications that pre-sort orders according to destination region before releasing them to last-mile parcel carriers.

For gentle product control, patented soft-touch divert technology reduces item impact speed without slowing throughput or hampering divert accuracy.

Autonomous navigation technology converts lift trucks into unmanned vehicles

Equipped with Driven by Balyo technology, the supplier’s lift trucks function as robotic vehicles that autonomously navigate through a warehouse and execute materials handling tasks.

Instead of relying on lights, beacons, magnets or tape to navigate, the vehicles use infrastructure-free guidance by mapping existing structural features. Using walls, building columns and racks to self-locate and navigate enables easy adjustments to changing layout configurations and reduces start-up costs and time.

As needed, operators touch a single button or move the tiller to activate manual control and perform other tasks.
