Kuebix Extends Load Matching Service With Emerge Private Freight Marketplace

Vast Kuebix shipping community gains access to Emerge marketplace for more truckload capacity and more rate options.

Kuebix Emerge Partnership

Earlier this week, Scottsdale, Arizona-based Emerge, a provider of its proprietary Private Freight Marketplace (PFM) and TMS focused on accelerating productivity and increasing visibility for supply chain stakeholders, and Maynard, Mass.-based TMS provider Kuebix announced a partnership.

The key elements of this partnership include the addition of the Emerge marketplace to the Kuebix Community Load Match, which is a single source offering focused on attractive rates and capacity opportunities through the Kuebix carrier base.

The companies said that through this partnership shippers using Kuebix can obtain additional truckload capacity through the Emerge marketplace, coupled with shippers gaining access to contracted rates and the spot market through the same system interface.

“We’re pleased to connect the Kuebix shipping community with Emerge’s massive network of brokers and direct carrier assets,” said Dan Clark, Kuebix founder and President, in a statement.

“Kuebix is uniquely providing our customers access to their contracted rates alongside a digital spot marketplace for additional truckload capacity, all in one convenient system. Now members of the Kuebix community get the best of both worlds to find the most efficient rates and the capacity they require to meet their shipping needs.”

Kuebix and Emerge explained that this partnership is highly beneficial for shippers looking for additional truckload capacity or more rate options by posting a shipment to the Kuebix Community Load Match and then start to receive spot quotes.

And they noted that through this partnership, Emerge’s broker and direct carrier asset connections are now accessible so that shippers can more easily have their freight digitally matched with available assets.

Customers gain access to this capacity without having to onboard each individual carrier and manage separate invoicing with it handled as a one-stop-shop through Emerge and Kuebix, they said,

What’s more, he pointed out that this partnership increases transparency between contracted rates and the truckload spot market all the same system, with Emerge handling all settlements and claims and not requiring the Kuebix user to onboard new carriers when an Emerge rate is booked through Community Load Match.

They also said shippers can now leverage more available truckload capacity without needing to make multiple phone calls search or myriad carrier websites, which aids in lowering total freight costs.

Emerge President Grant Crawford told Logistics Management that Emerge is actively working to partner with like-minded organizations that can complement each other.

“Kuebix is an ideal partner from a cultural, philosophical, and product standpoint,” he said.

“Kuebix customers now have direct access to our Truckload Marketplace via the Kuebix platform. Our Marketplace, which is growing daily, now has more than 22,000 carriers and brokers actively engaged. Shippers are experiencing upwards of 10% savings when utilizing the Emerge Private Freight Marketplace. Existing and future Kuebix users will interface with Emerge directly via their Kuebix connection when searching for Truckload needs…it’s that simple.”
