Columbia Machines’ System Integration Solution Helps Packaged Good Manufacturer Expand

Consumer packaged goods company Barcel USA needed an efficient integrated palletizing system to keep up with their growth.


Columbia Machine recently completed a successful palletizing systems integration installation at the consumer packaged goods company Barcel USA.

Headquartered out of Coppell, Texas, Barcel USA has a strong presence in the largest consumer packaged goods markets in the U.S. and manufactures, distributes and sells a great selection of innovative candy, cookies, and snacks offering a mix of very unique, sweet and spicy products with varying degrees of intensity and sweetness.

Barcel USA needed an efficient integrated palletizing system to keep up with their growth, and to help them continue expanding. 

Columbia Machines’ turnkey solution supplied and installed the necessary components for Barcel’s new integrated system.

This was a turnkey designed, supplied and installed solution that included 5 Columbia HL2000 High Level Palletizers and all the system components.

The system integration included:

  • Hytrol’s infeed case conveyors
  • 5 Ryson spiral elevators
  • Prime Conveyor’s empty and full load pallet conveyors
  • Phoenix ring stretch wrapper
  • Extensive operator platform
  • Pallet handling controls
  • Electrical and mechanical installation
  • On-site project management
