ASI Construction will focus on highlighting the benefits of the Mobius software platform to customers in the construction space.

Autonomous Solutions Inc., or ASI, has launched a new subsidiary designed to provide autonomous construction solutions. ASI Construction said it looking to help customers who are ready to scale how they use autonomy in their construction loading and haulage applications.

ASI Construction said its primary focus is to pitch its Mobius Autonomous Vehicle Control software. With Mobius, customers can command and control mutli-vehicle fleets. The software takes advantage of embedded AI modules to develop area coverage maps, the Petersboro, UT-based company said.

ASI Solutions produces unmanned vehicle systems for the industrial, agricultural, and automotive industries. It was founded in 2000 and was spun of the Center for Self-Organizing and Intelligent Systems at Utah State University.

Last month, the company announced the commercialization of its ASI’s Mining Mobius-based autonomous hauling system. ASI’s mining division is partially owned by Epiroc, a mining company based out of Sweden.

ASI Construction is committed to working with investors in construction

The new subsidiary said it is committed to this vision and is open to investment partners who are open to making changes in the construction industry through developing innovative technology offerings.

“At ASI, we believe that our autonomous solutions are the key to unlocking the future of production; it's a journey of transformation worth taking,” said Bret Turpin, product manager of ASI Construction. “That's why we're partnering with end users to make our vision a reality, and we're excited to help them become the leading producers in their industries.”

ASI said it already has a proven track record in the mining industry. The company said its solutions help end users optimize their production processes, reduce operating costs, and enhance safety while providing real-time data to support better operational decision-making.
