Chicago-based third-party logistics (3PL) services provider SEKO Logistics recently announced it made an intra-city acquisition, with the purchase of GoodShip International, a customs brokerage and compliance consultancy.

This new 109,000 square-foot facility, said Ryder, is less than five miles from the World Trade Bridge and is comprised of 6,400 square-feet of office space, 51 dock doors, two ramps, and 114 trailer spaces.

CIS said this is the company’s thirteenth U.S.-based location, adding that it will provide the company with a physical presence on the Northern U.S. border.
