In this white paper, we explore each of these topics and deliver strategies employers can implement to build these learnings into actions to attract, retain and engage on-floor warehouse workers.

Voice of the Warehouse Worker Insights

In every facet of today’s working world, headlines cry out, lamenting the lack of workers in almost every industry.

This is especially acute in the warehousing and distribution segment, where business is growing exponentially, and demand for on-floor workers is at an all-time high.

But with this demand comes difficulty in filling these jobs, driving the need for creating the magnet for hiring, and placing a premium on the retention and productivity of labor.

While much has been said and shared on this topic, there has been little voice that has come directly from the perspective of the on-floor warehouse worker.

As a pioneer in warehouse technology and the development of solutions that empower warehouse workers, Lucas Systems has commissioned a research study and developed our first Voice of the Warehouse Worker Insights.

Our goal was to capture the warehouse workers' voices in terms of what they currently see, what they feel and believe, what they fear, and finally what they hope for.

Survey Methodology

The Lucas Voice of the Warehouse Worker Insights survey was conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of Lucas Systems. The survey spanned 500 U.S. on-floor warehouse workers across multiple geographies and job roles.
