The ASCM Enterprise Certification Integrates and Leverages the Association for Supply Chain Management Body of Knowledge

The ASCM Enterprise Framework is the world’s first comprehensive evaluation of a supply chain.

This unique designation incorporates SCOR content and all bodies of knowledge from all ASCM Learning Systems.

Many of the standards in this guide are based upon metrics from the SCOR Framework.

The SCOR Framework is a model that helps organizations optimize supply chain performance and improve supply chain processes and management.

Each area of excellence in this guide includes references to relevant SCOR metrics and lists the pages in the Framework document where readers can find more information about these metrics.

The ASCM Enterprise Certification is a comprehensive evaluation of a supply chain that utilizes results achieved across three dimensions:

  • Ethical - Ethical criteria focus on these areas of an organization’s supply chain: anti-corruption and anti-trust, codes of conduct, the confidentiality of information, human rights and labor practices, intellectual property and patents, and responsible marketing and sales engagement.
  • Economic - Economic criteria focus on business integrity and company reputation, board and corporate leadership, enterprise risk, and crisis management, materiality index, responsible tax, supply chain strategy, and differentiated operating models.
  • Ecological - Ecological criteria focus on these areas of an organization’s supply chain: circular economy, climate strategy, energy, water and waste, material usage, and product lifecycle stewardship.
