PITT OHIO Receives Maryland Safety Awards
PITT OHIO, a leader in transportation, warehouse and logistics services, announced the receipt of the Maryland Fleet Safety Award in the Over 1,000,000 miles category.

PITT OHIO, received the Maryland Fleet Safety Award in the Over 1,000,000 miles category.
The contest, sponsored by Great West Casualty Company, recognizes those companies in various mileage classes with the lowest accident frequency rate. PITT OHIO also received the Grand Champion award for having the lowest accident frequency rate among all winners.
PITT OHIO’s Vice President of Safety, Jeff Mercadante:
“I would like to congratulate the Maryland drivers for winning this prestigious award. Their dedication to making our highways safe is much appreciated. There are areas of Maryland that have high volumes of traffic and our drivers are able to stay focused, keeping them and the motoring public safe. Our goal each day is to keep our employees safe and also the motorists operating around us.”
Awards were presented on January 26, 2023 at the MMTA annual Safety Awards Banquet.
