The five industry-recognized courses combine self-paced learning with live access to industry experts covering important, relevant supply chain topics.

LTL202: LTL Operations from Dock to Stock: In this course, LTL experts will pop open the hood, displaying all the moving parts working in tandem to fuel a successful LTL operation.
LTL203: LTL Freight Pricing: In this class, students will explore LTL pricing models, classification basics, base rates and gross rates, and trends in LTL carrier costing.
LTL204: US LTL Transportation Laws & Regulations: Hours of Service rules, the Electronic Logging Device mandate, and other regulations have all had a recent impact on the world of LTL transportation. This class will discuss current and former logistics rules, showing students how regulations have impacted the transportation landscape.
LTL205: Business Analytics: This capstone course will help students transition from theory and best practices to real-world LTL.
LTL205 is designed to provide students with hands-on experience through an individual project that demonstrates they have mastered the SMC³ LTL Certification curriculum.
Students have the option of becoming certified in LTL by SMC³, which recognizes that they have developed the skills and competencies demanded by the 21st-century LTL industry.
There is no prerequisite to take the CLTL exam; students can take the exam any time in an online, proctored environment.
