CgoXchange - Air Cargo Applications for Trucking Companies

Lofty as it may sound, CgoXchange intends to be a catalyst for digitizing the air cargo industry. CgoXchange believes the logical path is via applications, assembled to fit the individual user’s current needs.

Arguably, smaller forwarders have been hesitant to adopt air cargo digitization. This contributed to the industry’s lag in automating data exchange. CgoXchange intends to incent smaller forwarders to begin participating digitally.

CgoXchange does not intend to add value to relationships between airlines and their largest freight forwarding customers.

Air carrier cargo sales need to be agile and mobile to address smaller freight forwarder needs when appropriate shipments develop.

CgoXchange’s first application focuses on insuring the optimal buyer and seller come together for these shipments.

• CgoXchange will also launch applications for trucking companies and shippers when it launches in 2013.
• CgoXchange, a Division of Sirius Business, is headed by Craig Ruess, an international air cargo industry veteran. Craig has been employed by major international and US cargo carriers in a variety of sales and service capacities.
• Craig was previously Vice President of eCargoService, an early cloud based air cargo booking system.
• Craig was also the founder of Partner Air Service, a B747F airline for international cargo moving within the USA.
