To optimize warehouse and manufacturing operators’ high-payload material transport, AutoGuide Mobile Robots is showcasing MAX-N AMRs at ProMatDX this week.
Built on AutoGuide’s patent-pending modular design, the autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) offer users a common base that can be adapted for materials handling tasks with modular attachments, resulting in the creation of autonomous forklifts and tuggers.
Featuring top mounted, natural feature navigation systems, floor-level safety sensors and LiDAR scanners, which can detect objects and personnel in their pre-determined network of approved paths, the AMRs can also substantially reduce accidents of all kinds as they safely coexist with other industrial vehicles and humans.
“With our MAX-N AMRs, not only can facility operators feel confident the robots they’re deploying can work safely around their employees, but they can also know that these robots have been successfully deployed in some of the largest and most complex facilities in the world,” said Mike Harper, VP of sales at AutoGuide. “These facilities are seeing safer environments and faster ROI as they free their workers for higher-value tasks.”
