With a 6.3-cent increase, the average price per gallon now stands at $2.882 per gallon.

This marks the highest weekly average price in more than two years, going back to the week of July 6, 2015, when it stood at $2.832 per gallon. And this continues a stretch of weekly gains on the heels of 1-cent and 0.4-cent gains the last two weeks.

With a 1-cent increase, the national average for diesel now stands at $2.797 per gallon. This follows a 1.1-cent gain last week and a 0.4-cent increase the week before.

The United States Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported this week that the average price per gallon for diesel gasoline headed up 1.1 cents to $2.787 per gallon this week. The increase comes on the heels of a 1.6 cent decline last week.

This decline follows a $0.4 cent increase to $2.792 last week and a $0.03 decline from the week of September 18 to the week of September 25.

Following its first decline in seven weeks last week, the average price per gallon of diesel gasoline resumed its growth path, rising 0.2 cents to $2.605 per gallon.

With an increase of 0.9 cents, the national average now stands at $2.481 per gallon.

With a 0.7 cent increase, the average price per gallon is at $2.472, following declines of 3.5 cents , 4 cents, and 0.7 cents, respectively, over the previous three weeks.

The average price per gallon of diesel gasoline dropped 3.5 cents to $2.489 per gallon, according to data issued by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The average price per gallon slid 0.7 cents to $2.564 per gallon after last week’s 3.2 cent gain.

For the first time in six weeks, the average price per gallon of diesel gasoline headed up, with a 3.2 cent increase to $2.571 per gallon.

Falling 0.5 cents to $2.539 per gallon, this follows declines of 2.1 cents, 1.8 cents, 1.2 cents, and 0.2 cents over the previous five weeks for a cumulative 5.8 cent decline going back to the week of April 17.
