Northeastern’s Executive MBA.

Be a Stronger Leader
Leadership sets our Executive MBA (EMBA) program apart. Students focus on building their leadership skills in the classroom, on the job, in workshops, in reflection meetings, and in residencies throughout our 16-month program.

We teach students how to “lead in place” within their current jobs. We push them to examine their personal leadership styles, identify key challenges at work, and actively apply effective leadership practices.

Students continually reflect on their progress and make improvements. The communication and management skills they build during the program help prepare them to take on new leadership roles in the future.

Go Global
When we say that our EMBA program is global, we mean more than just international travel. When students learn about finance, marketing, communications, or strategy, they do so through a global lens.

What they learn about global business in the classroom is brought to life on our two required international residencies. For example, last year EMBA students visited companies in China where they met with C-level executives to learn about their business models, organizational structures, and growth strategies.

By the end of the program, EMBA students have developed a global mindset. Graduates comment that what they learned in the program has prepared them to manage global teams, take on global assignments, or even expand their businesses into new countries.
