Improving Internal Business Efficiency and Supply Chain Visibility
Danone is convinced that food and nutrition are key to building and sustaining health and well-being for all.
It acts daily to bring health through food to as many people as possible - continuously improving and innovating to offer products that meet consumers’ nutritional needs and provide health benefits.
The Challenge
Danone Research has two main missions - to drive future product innovation by developing new technologies and ingredients and to be the center of excellence for production samples, clinical and consumer tests. Danone was looking for a 3rd party logistics partner that could provide the support and expertise of a Global network with local control.
The Solution
The SEKO France team installed MySEKO and SEKO’s logistics services to pilot operations throughout the Danone organization. This includes worldwide air freight export including dry ice cartons, import of samples, official destruction of end of life samples, brokerage and phytosanitary checks, shipment of demonstration and training materials worldwide, and providing road freight, express and critical delivery within Europe.

Delivering Total Supply Chain Management
White Stuff is a fashion and lifestyle brand that sells women’s and men’s clothing and accessories. It was founded in 1985 by two ski fanatics that first sold their ‘Boys from the White Stuff’ t-shirts to pay for their skiing habit. 25 years on, White Stuff now sells beautiful clothes, accessories, and home stuff in over 85 shops in the UK and online.
The Challenge
White Stuff needed full visibility of its international supply chain and also wanted to consolidate its inbound freight to reduce costs.
The Solution
The MySEKO technology solution was implemented to proactively manage online factory bookings in the Far East and India. SEKO worked with a number of suppliers to increase consolidation opportunities which resulted in an increase in full multi-supplier container loads and substantial cost savings.

Enabling Overseas Expansion for Reiss
David Reiss opened his first store in 1971 selling European quality men's tailoring in the city of London, and today, Reiss is a multinational fashion retailer with over 90 stores worldwide. Reiss prides itself on having an uncompromising commitment to delivering innovative, original products combining exceptional design, quality, and value.
The Challenge
With a mature and successful UK business in full flow, Reiss began opening shops in other countries and needed a system to manage the rollout and ongoing supply of these new stores. In delivering European fashion, Reiss needed full visibility of its overseas purchase orders to manage the new stores successfully.
The Solution
In addition to establishing stock holdings for Reiss in Asia and the US, SEKO installed a fully customized supply chain technology solution to help Reiss manage its international shipping from factory to distribution center to store. Today, the MySEKO technology suite connects Reiss with its factories' purchase order progress and provides visibility to inventory in transit by air and ocean.
