I am very excited to be a part of the pilot Urban Adaptation Ambassador (UAA) program. The ND-GAIN project is an ambitious one: a detailed analysis of 278 cities and their potential damages due to climate change.

Through the implementation of energy conservation measures across facilities, the design and construction of LEED-certified buildings, the establishment of the Office of Sustainability, academic and research centers such as the Center for Sustainable Energy, the Environmental Change Initiative, and ND-GAIN, and the creation of an undergraduate minor in Sustainability, the University has sought to advance sustainability on campus and abroad.

The College of Engineering, College of Science, and Notre Dame Research are jointly celebrating the Alumni Association’s Annual Reunion with an event on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The festivities will be held in the new McCourtney Hall and will feature fun S.T.E.M. themed food, drinks, and participatory activities.
