Wynright acquires certain software assets from Blue Sky Logistics
Acquisition to boost real-time visibility features of current Wynright warehouse control systems applications.
Wynright Corporation, a component of Daifuku North America Holding Company and a leading U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, has announced the acquisition of certain assets of Blue Sky Logistics, a business intelligence software and consulting solutions company for the supply chain, in order to accelerate its current Wynsoft warehouse control system (WCS) applications growth.
The Insight software from Blue Sky Logistics is a business intelligence solution that provides real-time visibility and turns data into actionable information to streamline operations around labor, inventory, transportation and purchasing, among others. Wynright will integrate the Insight suite of products into its Wynsoft WCS software. Wynsoft is the first modular, layered, mobile software solution to bridge the gap effectively between warehouse control systems (WCS), designed to direct real-time activities in the warehouse or distribution center (DC), and warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems that control overall operations.
