The theme of this year’s Supply Chain Insights Global Summit is Imagine.
It is designed for the line-of-business leader (Supply Chain Leaders, Chief Financial Officers and Corporate Social Responsibility Leaders) driving supply chain excellence and building value networks.
It is a small event designed to facilitate networking. Attendance will be limited to 15% vendor/sponsor representation.

Keynote Address: Navigating the Ups and Downs of the Global Economy
Laura Tyson is a Professor and Director of the Institute for Business and Social Impact at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. She served as Dean of London Business School from 2002-2006 and as Dean of Berkeley-Haas from 1998-2001. Laura was a member of the US Department of State Foreign Affairs Policy Board and a member of President Obama’s Council of Jobs and Competitiveness and the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. She served in the Clinton Administration as the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (1993-1995) and as Director of the National Economic Council (1995 – 1996). She is a member of the Board of Directors of Morgan Stanley, AT&T, CBRE Group Inc. and Silver Spring Networks. She is an economic advisory board member of the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation.

Panel Discussions with Experts. Five hard-hitting panel discussions that combine the recent research on supply chain talent, corporate social responsibility, technology and analytics, and risk management into a spirited dialogue.
New Research on Supply Chain Excellence. Launch of a new method of rewarding companies for supply chain excellence based on performance on the Supply Chain Effective Frontier. This will be a combination of work on the Supply Chain Index, patterns of supply chain performance, and input from supply chain leaders from the Shaman’s Circle.
Exposure to New Business Models. Based on the concept of “Imagine,” attendees at the conference will be challenged to think differently about the future of supply chain. The conference will feature a learning lab to help attendees visualize the future of supply chain. It will be an open sharing of concepts by experts in a lab-type setting on the first day of the conference. (This will not be a trade show.)
