SHOP.CA Launches Fulfillment Technology Partnership with Think Logistics

Think Logistics, the only Canadian 3PL to utilize Robotic Fulfillment technology, to expand SHOP.CA's fulfillment capabilities.

SHOP.CA announces a partnership with Think Logistics, one of Canada’s most advanced third party logistics service providers.

SHOP.CA and Think Logistics are bringing improved efficiency to the eCommerce delivery process through the use of Think’s robotic fulfillment system and deep logistics experience.

Think Logistics is a leading provider of retail and direct to consumer logistics services for organizations serving the North American market and the only Canadian third-party logistics provider utilizing state-of-the art each pick robotic fulfillment technology.

For small and large merchant partners of SHOP.CA, this partnership will allow them to scale easily while reducing costs by leveraging the Think Logistics experience, infrastructure and capabilities.

The partnership will also expand to enable the last mile delivery of goods to Canadians of products that originate in foreign markets.

For the consumer, this partnership will unlock the ability to purchase bundles of lower-priced products consumers create themselves on SHOP.CA and have them delivered right to their door on an automated schedule the consumer selects.

“We are pleased and excited to partner with SHOP.CA as ecommerce continues to experience explosive growth in Canada. We look forward to providing efficiency, expertise and innovation to enhance the product delivery experience for SHOP.CA customers.” explains Robert Hashimoto, Think Logistics’ President.

Since its launch in July 2012, SHOP.CA has become one of the fastest growing retail businesses in Canada offering exclusively priced brands and millions of products that ship for free and can be returned for free, 365 days a year. This partnership is the next building block in helping Canadian businesses deliver the best products to Canadians at the best possible price. “This is a true Win-3,” said Drew Green, ceo and founder of SHOP.CA. “The consumer is going to have greater access to products they desire while the merchant partner has complete access to an affordable distribution system, ultimately offering Canadians the most progressive online shopping experience,” added Green.
