Rebuilding in the Wake of Hurricane Harvey

In the immediate aftermath of hurricane Harvey, Frontier Business mobilized their teams to restore service to the affected communities throughout Texas so businesses could get back online and operate with as little disruption as possible.

When Hurricane Harvey hit, our first thought was you.

As high winds and flooding caused damage to businesses throughout the area, knocking down power lines and shutting off communication service, we knew we had to act quickly.

In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, we mobilized our teams to restore service to the affected communities throughout Texas so businesses can operate with as little disruption as possible.

Frontier Commits $1M to the Hurricane Harvey Rebuild Texas Fund

Frontier Communications announced a $1M contribution pledge to the Rebuild Texas Fund. The non-profit fund was established by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in partnership with the OneStar Foundation to provide relief to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

In addition to providing immediate relief efforts, the fund will focus initial support in the areas of health and housing; schools and child care; workforce and transportation; and capital for rebuilding small businesses.

“We are proud to join other organizations and many individuals supporting The Rebuild Texas Fund,” said Dan McCarthy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier.

“Texas has a massive rebuilding effort ahead of it, and Frontier, as a Texas employer and communications provider, is proud to work with community partners in affected regions.”

In addition, Frontier employees across the company’s 29-state footprint are raising funds for short-term assistance to colleagues affected by the storm. Frontier employees in the Dallas-Fort Worth area have also organized a collection box campaign for food and personal hygiene articles in key Frontier locations throughout the Dallas Metroplex area.

“Right now, we are all Texans,” said Mr. McCarthy, “and we are committed to helping our colleagues, customers, and communities in this challenging time.”
